Inspiration
I was inspired to create this piece mainly on my early upbringings. My father immigrated to North America from Jamaica through New York City, so the city always had a sentimental value to me. I used to stay in New York over the summers as a child and have great memories of the city. When I was able to come back as an Adult with a new perspective on life and a camera in my hand capturing the images I took would be very special to me.
